As a Floor Supervisor, you ensure impeccable cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hotel and staff accommodation in accordance with internal procedures.
. Planning the efficient deployment of staff
. Monitoring and checking cleanliness and tidiness throughout the hotel, both inside and out
. Monitoring and checking cleanliness and tidiness in the staff accommodation
. Monitoring and supporting the economical and environmentally friendly use of cleaning, laundry and household products
. Promoting staff motivation and providing thorough induction for new staff
. Assisting with the annual stock-take of cleaning, washing and maintenance products
. Assisting with the delivery of internal training courses
. Providing support with the cleaning of guest rooms and apartments
. Providing support in the hotel’s own laundry department
. A completed apprenticeship as a hotel manager (EFZ)
. Experience in the upmarket hotel sector
. A strong focus on quality and a high level of commitment to customer service
. Management experience
. Assertiveness and empathy
. An independent and solution-oriented approach to work
. Good command of German, good command of English and French (knowledge of other languages such as Portuguese or Spanish would be an advantage)
. A well-groomed appearance
. Good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
. A confident, assured manner and excellent interpersonal skills
