Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Housekeeper to join a prestigious household in Lauenen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private housekeeping, exceptional laundry skills, and a willingness to undertake additional responsibilities such as cooking and running errands. This position offers the opportunity to work in a luxurious environment and to become an integral part of a dedicated household team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform all aspects of private housekeeping to the highest standards, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of all living spaces.
  2. Manage laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and folding garments with meticulous attention to detail.
  3. Undertake errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning pick-up, and other tasks as requested by the principals.
  4. Drive the principals as needed, maintaining a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times.
  5. Develop a strong rapport with household pets, providing care and assistance as required.
  6. Maintain inventory of household supplies and replenish as needed, ensuring all items are stocked and readily available.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding household matters and the privacy of the principals.
  8. Occasionally travel with the principals within Europe, providing support and assistance during trips.

You

  1. Proven experience in private housekeeping, preferably in high-end residences.
  2. Exceptional laundry skills with the ability to care for delicate fabrics and garments.
  3. Cooking experience is advantageous, but not essential.
  4. Proficient in running errands and managing tasks efficiently.
  5. Possession of a valid driving license and a reliable vehicle for transportation.
  6. Fluent in English, French, or German, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe as required.
  8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team when necessary.
  9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
