Responsabilities

Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect in Gstaad, Switzerland. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and overseeing architectural projects in this prestigious Alpine resort area.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop architectural plans, blueprints, and drawings for residential buildings.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that designs meet project requirements and regulations.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility and gather necessary information.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, including 3D models and renderings, to clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the construction process, including managing contractors, reviewing progress, and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that projects comply with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative design solutions into projects.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Mentor junior staff members and provide guidance and support as needed.

You

  • Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience working as an Architect, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  • Excellent design and visualization skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and materials.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Fluency in English and German; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Authorization to work in Switzerland.
